District Teams(Art, Music, PE) Develop Proficiency Scales

While the beginning of the school year bells were ringing and hallways were filled with kids, our elementary art, music, and pe educators were hard at work developing proficiency scales aligned to the national standards that they unwrapped last year during their curriculum work. This past quarter has provided the teams with insight into the development of their scales as they have given more formative assessments aligned to the standards to help guide their teaching and student learning.

While this work has been tedious at times, the teams have worked hard and have had great discussions.

Over the next week, I will be adding all of the proficiency scales that the teams developed aligned to the two power standards they will be reporting out on each quarter.
